“I didn’t think Phoenix's on-line yoga library would work for me. In the past, I thought I was the type of person who needed accountability with a live class, either in person (before Covid) or a Zoom live class option.

While traveling this summer, I decided to try the on-demand classes taking advantage of the free trial week.

Phoenix’s site is incredibly impressive. There are so many different ways to work with the options. One can choose a class based on the amount of time you can practice on any given day. Once you open the site, scroll to the very bottom and you’ll see blocks of time: under 10 minutes, 11-20 minutes and so forth. You can also choose from many classes addressing specific body parts that may be asking for some special attention. Want to add in a meditation on either side of your practice? You can tune in to Phoenix’s gentle, calm voice, guiding you inward. To give an example of a few categories: Bedtime yoga, yogic breathing, relax and renew, chair yoga. Phoenix also offers seasonal ayurveda practice tips.

As for value, that question is up to each of us. We have to show up on the mat to benefit from Phoenix’s generous offerings. Beyond being an exceptional yoga teacher, I enjoy Phoenix’s essence, being in her company.
